"I LOVE YOU and GOD BLESS"
In the hearts of those who loved her, she lives on forever.
Mary-Ann Jansen van Rensburg
10 November 1937 – 4 November 2025
Mary-Ann Jansen van Rensburg was a beloved mother, cherished grandmother, proud great-grandmother, sister and faithful friend. For 87 wonderful years, she poured love, kindness and quiet strength into her family and everyone blessed to know her.
She was truly the heart of her family — a gentle and radiant soul whose presence made every person feel loved, seen, appreciated and adored. Her warmth had a way of turning ordinary moments into something special, often through the kindness of her smile, her laughter, or even a playful cheeky wink.
Ouma spent most of her life in the beautiful coastal town of Sedgefield, where she lived from her mid-thirties until the day she passed. It was there that she built a life filled with family, friendships, and the many memories that would become part of her lasting legacy.
She carried love in her hands — in every hug, every word of encouragement, and every caring gesture. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort, where family gathered, laughter was shared, and memories were made across generations. Nothing brought her greater joy than her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ouma was known for her caring heart and the simple but powerful way she showed love. No phone call ended and no visit closed without her familiar words: “I love you and God bless.” It was more than a goodbye — it was her prayer, her covering, and her way of sending you back into the world wrapped in love.
To her children, she was a guiding light. To her grandchildren, a safe haven. To her great-grandchildren, pure magic.
Ouma’s love was never loud, yet it echoed through everything she did. Her legacy lives on in the hearts she touched and the love she inspired — reminding us that the truest beauty in life is found in kindness, generosity and the courage to love deeply.
Her laughter will echo in our memories,
her touch will linger in the lives she shaped, and her love will remain in our hearts forever.
Forever loved.
Forever remembered.
Rus sag, Ouma. Jou liefde bly vir altyd in ons harte. 🤍
